Clay joined Southport Capital in 2001. Clay began his investment career at Merrill Lynch in 1996 and also served as Vice President of Trust Investments at SunTrust Bank. Before initiating his investment career, Clay enjoyed success as a Major League baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, and Seattle Mariners. He received a Bachelor’s in General Education from Louisiana State University where he played football and baseball for the Tigers. Outside of work Clay has been involved in various ministries along with speaking engagements. Clay also assists with kid’s sports clinics.Clay joined Southport Capital in 2001. Jennifer Greene

Bio

Jennifer works as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Operations Manager for Southport. She started her career with major commercial banks both focusing on the personal trust group and the endowment and foundations group. She joined the Southport group in 2004 and now has exceeded over 18 years of experience within the financial industry field.

Jennifer is in charge of overseeing and managing the firm’s compliance issues. She ensures the firm is complying with regulatory requirements and ensure the employees are complying for the firm’s internal policies and procedures.

Jennifer leads her life with the determination to make each day better and focuses on aiding the continuous growth of Southport. Her spare time is filled with her husband Derrick, her children, and her grandbabies.

Wendy Railey

Bio

Wendy joined the Southport Capital team in 2016 as additional operational support. She
graduated Young Harris College in 2005 with an Associate’s Degree in Art. Prior to joining
Southport, she had three years financial experience in public banking and several years in administration. During her down time, Wendy enjoys reading, fishing, hunting, watching baseball and sharing time with the ones she loves, especially her son, Jace.

Sarah Halloran

An experienced Marketing Director with primary focuses including website development and management, social media strategy and implementation, digital marketing, management of creative projects, event management, media placement, and PR.

Sarah has worked with the Olympic Boxing Committee, Kids and Pros, and other various organizations in California and Chattanooga. She currently spends her time reading WW2 books and hanging out with her little boy Beau.

Justene Manley

Justene joined the Southport Capital team in 2018 as additional administration support. Prior to joining Southport, she had sixteen years of experience in the administrative assistance field including eight years of financial experience. She prides herself in making sure all operational support is carried out and implemented in a detailed, enthusiastic and professional manner. Justene and her husband Justin have lived in Chattanooga for the past 4 years and have a blended family of 5 children and 2 dogs. During her down time, Justene loves spending time with her children attending sporting events, swimming and traveling.

Haley Sanchez

Bio

Haley joined the Southport Capital team in 2018 as our Trader and additional operational support. Her background includes 10 years of administrative assistant roles for companies ranging from mortgage brokers to medical manufacturing plants, to cosmetic chemists. Since becoming a part of Southport, she has discovered a new indulgence in keeping up with the fast pace and volatility of the financial world.

Haley is an avid reader, a wine connoisseur, and a Disney fanatic. There’s nothing she enjoys more than being surrounded by family and friends, hopefully somewhere sunny. She and her husband, Aaron, are long-time residents of the Chattanooga area where they plan on staying to raise their two greatest accomplishments, Tessa and Clark.
