A: No. Only property. Your home will be built as you desire. Should you be interested in speaking with a local builder in our area please contact us and we will assist you in securing a qualified builder.
Q: Approximately how much does it cost to build a house in Tennessee?

Q: Do I have to build right away?
A: There are no time restrictions for constructing your home.
Q: What are the sizes of the home sites?

A: No unless areed upon by owners for specific items in the future.
Q: Where can I get financing?
A: Whatever is best for you. You can arrange with you bank or contact local banks in the Monteagle area.
Q: Where can I find local health care?
A: Residents of Monteagle and Marion County are fortunate in having excellent health care facilities. Emerald Hodgson Hospital is among the nation's top 100 best hospitals. It is a private, non-profit facility with 186 beds, a 20-bed Sub acute Care unit, 24-hour emergency service, expanded same-day surgery unit, comprehensive out-patient services, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, home health services, and more.
Since 1985, the hospital's hospice program has provided terminally ill patients and their families with the services of physicians, psychologists, nurses, counselors, and volunteers.
Other health, medical, and ambulance services and supports are provided by a branch of Southern Tennessee Medical Center, GranView Medical Center, and Monteagle Care and Rehabilitation of Marion County Health Department. There are four full-time clinics, over 50 physicians and surgeons, three assisted-living facilities, and three nursing homes.
In addition, half dozen veterinarians provide a wide range of health care for your pets and other animals.

HOW LOW ARE THE TAXES?
No State Income Tax
The Tennessee income tax does not apply to salaries and wages, but most income from stocks, bonds and notes receivable is taxable.
- Generally, the state's sales and use tax rate is 7 percent.
- Food remains taxed at 6 percent, but candy, dietary supplements and prepared food are taxed at the increased 7-percent rate.
- Local sales taxes also are collected and those rates vary from 1.5 percent to 2.75 percent.
Very Low Property Tax
